Bryan Gick (Ph.D., Yale U. ‘99), FRSC and Guggenheim Fellow, is Professor and Head of the Department of Linguistics, Director of the Master of Data Sciences in Computational Linguistics, and Co-Director of Language Sciences. He is a Senior Scientist at Yale’s Haskins Laboratories and holds associate appointments at UBC in Psychology, the School of Audiology and Speech Sciences and the Institute for Computing, Information and Cognitive Systems. With research combining production, perception, control and biomechanics of speech, he has worked to bring the human body in all its complexity into discussions of language. Unlimited
