Danielle Devore is a senior Speech-Language Pathologist of the Pediatric Voice Clinic at Texas Children’s Hospital. She joined the multidisciplinary clinic in 2011. Danielle Devore is committed to the challenges of helping children with voice disorders realize their maximum potential through instrumental voice evaluations and voice therapy. Danielle Devore’s clinical focus is pediatric voice disorders, bilingual (Spanish/English) assessments, paradoxical vocal fold motion/ irritable larynx, and chronic cough in children. This narrow scope of practice has allowed her to develop expertise in pediatric voice disorders. As a graduate of ASHA’s 2019 Leadership Development Program, Danielle is training SLP graduate students in the Houston area to enhance their perceptual voice evaluation skills. A primary focus of Danielle Devore’s research has been collecting normative and disordered data using cepstral analyses of pediatric voice quality. She has published research on laryngeal ultrasound as well as trans-oral laryngoscopy in children.
