Debra Dwight received her doctorate in Communication Disorders from the University of Alabama, as well as two master’s degrees, one in Early Childhood Education and the other in Communication Disorders. She was an Assistant Professor at the University of West Georgia where she taught courses on language and literacy, language development, etc., and well as clinical management and supervision. In addition, she has been the Director of the West Georgia Preschool Special Education program, as well as the Program Coordinator for Special Education in the Atlanta Public Schools. Currently, she presents seminars and manages a private practice, Speech First Therapy Services. She has written her knowledge and experience into a practical, best-selling book: Here’s How to Do Therapy: Hands-on Core Skills in Speech-Language Pathology. Unlimited
