John Cavanagh
John Cavanagh has worked in behavioral health management and distribution for medical devices and services for the past decade. In 2014 he facilitated the formation and day-to-day management of Addison Syndicated Laborites. ASL enabled network contracts and improved administrative services for smaller independent owned sleep facilities that desired to join a more extensive hospital-based network. The success of this model advanced therapeutic sleep services to many patients in the area of behavioral health, pain management, and primary care. John has also worked in the marketing and development of various medical devices. His passion for research and the development of personalized behavioral health in genetics and neuromodulation devices began in 2012. He collaborated with partners to formulate the start-up of a genetic laboratory in Memphis, Tennessee. He collaborated with Dr. Arturo Taca, M.D., to advance neuromodulation devices in behavioral health and addiction. He contributed to a peer-reviewed study in the Journal of Alcohol and Drug Abuse. John Cavanagh was instrumental in pioneering Percutaneous Nerve Field Stimulators (PNFS) for opioid withdrawal, which led to the FDA clearance to be used in that space. John Cavanagh has been at the forefront of utilizing Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) for treatment of major depression. He is an active member of the National TMS Society and a past member of their national insurance committee. John currently serves on the DeSmet Jesuit High School Alumni Board in St. Louis, Missouri. He lives in Dallas, Texas and enjoys activities outdoors including fishing, hunting, yoga  and ice hockey.
