Julie Case is an Assistant Professor in the Speech-Language-Hearing Sciences Department at Hofstra University. Dr. Case holds a Ph.D. in Communicative Sciences and Disorders from New York University. Dr. Case is an ASHA-certified bilingual speech-language pathologist with a specialization in Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS). Her research examines speech motor control in children with CAS and other speech sound disorders, in addition to treatment efficacy for motor-based intervention in young children with CAS. Dr. Case’s work has been published in numerous peer-reviewed journals. She has also presented at several international conferences and served as a clinical instructor for the Apraxia Kids Advanced Training Institute.
