Lisa Chattler, M.A., CCC-SLP is a fellow of the California Speech-Language-Hearing Association (CSHA) in recognition of outstanding clinical services, teaching, and service to CSHA and related organizations.
She received her undergraduate and graduate degrees in Communication Disorders, from California State University Long Beach. Then in 1982 she joined the Los Alamitos Unified School District, and remained there until 2019. After 37 years, she retired with distinction. During many of those years she also managed her own a private practice, and was either a clinician, Instructor and/or clinical supervisor for: California State University Long Beach, California State University Fullerton, Chapman University, as well as the Newport Speech and Language Center, and The Stepping Stones Group.
For years, Lisa has been involved with the California State University Long Beach Communication Disorders Advisory Board, Pearson Publishing National Speech Language Pathology Advisory Board, Several ASHA committees and many CSHA positions including the Director of District 8. In addition, she has presented at numerous ASHA and CSHA Conventions. Unlimited
