Dr. Treasyri Williams Wood, SLPD, CCC-SLP, CDP, is a Michigan native and nationally recognized speech-language pathologist with expertise in the neural bases of communication, advocacy, and leadership. She earned her Clinical Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology (SLPD) from Northwestern University and is deeply committed to person-centered care across clinical and educational settings.
Dr. Williams Wood leads a speech and language clinic on the south side of Chicago, where she provides culturally responsive services to diverse communities. She also educates professionals, graduate students, and community members, bridging clinical knowledge with advocacy and empowerment. Nationally, she serves as Member at Large in Speech-Language Pathology on the ASHA Board of Directors, contributing to strategic initiatives that shape the future of the profession.
